Oregon Coast Winter Weather
The north Oregon coast is a place of stunning natural beauty. It can also be a place of decptive weather. Whilst the temperatures may appear mild, typically in the low 40's to low 50's, many nights can dip to below freezing and winter storms with heavy winds make the temperature feel much colder. While the pounding waves make for dramatic viewing it is best to come prepared for the wind and likely rain. Ocassionaly the area can lose power. Tillamook People's Utility District is very quick to respond to these situations and typically the power is back on within hours.
