Sightseeing
Thomas Edison and Henry Ford's Winter estates. They were some of the first snowbirds! They spent Winter months down in Fort Myers inventing and relaxing. The sight is beautiful and very historic. The plants and trees on the property are amazing. Many of these trees you will not see anywhere else in the USA. Edison was working on project to extract rubber from exotic plants, leaving his property peppered with gorgeous rare trees. There is also a collection of many early inventions and cars. This is a must see!
