This place has absolutely fantastic sandwiches. Everything on the menu is great. They're only open for lunch though. Worth the 5 minute walk. Screw the Subway that just opened down the street.

This place was just renovated and changed its name to Shelly's Bar. One of the nicer places in Soulard, they have great food and lots of TVs to watch the game. Go upstairs to their lounge.

Biggest Irish Pub I've ever been to, and I'm Irish. Huge outdoor patio, live music, decent food. Its a very popular destination in Soulard. Always crowded.
