City/town information

East to Verona, you find the Lago di Garda and can take a tour. The buses leave from the main Porta Nuova station. You can get off at any village along the lake and take the next bus whenever you want to continue. The most wonderful part of the lake is the Nothern side where you can find a cable car in Malcesine and go up to Monte Baldo. You can have a great panorama view of the Dolomites and have good food at the mountain retreat. In the South side, you find Sirmione, a very nice village on a peninsula in the middle of the lake and several sites with beaches.

Est to Verona, you find Vicenza at 20' by train. It is a very pretty town, quite different from Verona as it was inspired by the famous architect Palladio (1508-1580). In the town you can visit the Olympic theatre, one of only 5 in the world, a renaissance theater with fantastic acoustics and trompe-l'oeil stages.
