Vienna’s most popular tourist sight is the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace. You can simply go there for a nice walk, there is no entry fee for the premises, only if you want to see the palace from the inside.
Walk up to the famous Gloriette and enjoy the view over vienna.
The Schönbrunn park also houses Tiergarten Schönbrunn, the oldest working zoo in the world.
To get there from the apartment take the bus "10A Niederhofstraße" for about 10min until "Schloss Schönbrunn". To get to the bus station take the tram "46 Ring/Volktheater" for one station until "Schumeierplatz" or simply walk there (5 min).

The Donauinsel is a small island in the Danube river, which resulted when the river was regulated in the last century. Today it is a paradise for cyclists, joggers, inline skaters as well as locals who just want to hang out and slow down from the hectic city life.
Take the train "S45 Handelskai" from the station "Ottakring" for 20min until "Handelskai" to get there.
The "Stadtpark" is the official park of the city. The park dated back to the Habsburg times, when it was planned and erected after tearing down the city wall of Vienna. Nowadays it is most visited by tourists for the famous golden statue of famous musician Johann Strauss.
