Just across the street. Consistently good. Irregular breadsticks that are totally worth it! The “Solo Deal” is $18.01, one 16” pizza with 6 bread sticks and “Mambo Sauce,” which basically is marina. But a good deal!

Andrea worked here as a breakfast server in high school, so we have to show it some support! Pizza and pancakes are their forte. Beyond that don’t look to be amazed, but you’ll always enjoy their OC family-friendly memorabilia and atmosphere. We even took our 1yo in here screaming on a date night, and everyone, though cringing inside I’m sure, was kind and supportive.

Dolle's $1 Water Bottles
Everyone love's Thrashers Fries, but who wants to pay $5 for a drink? 10 steps further up the boardwalk is the famed Dolle's Popcorn. They sell Deep Park water bottles for $1 apiece. Oh and they're also sold nice and cold! Go ahead and grab some popcorn while you're there!

Sunrise on the Beach
We got engaged at the OC Inlet Beach at sunrise back in 2011. While you’re here, find a morning to take the family over the dune while it's still dark and watch the sun "rise in the east." Family memory you won't forget. And hey, the kids might take a longer nap later on if you do.

Go to the pictures of Beauty and the Beach on the listing. There is a graphic there with several "How OCMD are you?" activities. It should be pretty easy to get to 30+ even for a one day trip. Give it a try!

Wawa Hoagies
As we are more suited to families staying with us, we know that money can be tight even on vacation. A solid option for lunch or dinner would be heading north to the Wawa near Northside Park. Hoagies and sides are always a hit and don’t break the bank as much as a $20 entrée at a restaurant.

Beach pictures
Unlike many other beaches around the world which we have visited, in Ocean City very few people come and try to hock things on the beach. The lone exception is a photography company whose ambassadors walk the beach in blue shorts and fanny packs. They will strike up a conversation with leading into a sales pitch on beach pictures which you can purchase and pick up from their store fronts throughout Ocean City. Of course, if this is something you are interested in, feel free to partake. Otherwise feel free to say no thank you immediately.

Assateague bonfire
Do yourself a favor. Take the short trip to Assateague, grab a bundle of firewood on the way from one of the various stops along Stephen Decatur highway, and head out to Assateague just before dark. Go to the "national side," dig yourself a fire pit, and have a bonfire. Families can't do much better than this for cheap entertainment that will make memories which last forever. OC bonfires are possible as well but require a city permit and cost $ for the permit.

Skeeball at Marty’s Playland
When you hit the boardwalk make sure to bring some quarters to play skeeball at Marty’s Playland. These skeeball machines are probably as old as the boardwalk and even survived a fire.

Really, there is a washer, dryer, and detergent for you. Pack easy. Wear sandals everywhere. Unless you are golfing, leave all collars at home.

Off-season
We have had 70+ degree days in October and November. Be sure to look for the off-season rates on these A+ days. Fewer people, restaurants still open, boardwalk still busy. Enjoy!
