Back River views are beautiful, especially at sunset. They take reservations. Currently closed Tuesday & Wednesday.
The atmosphere is casual and the food is good.

One of our favorite things to do is order chicken fingers and spuds takeout, grab the beach chairs and go sit on the beach for a picnic supper. Spanky's is just a few doors down from the condo.

Food with a Caribbean flare. Good destination for a long beach walk from the condo--it's about 2-1/2 miles one way, or ride a bike and see Tybee. It is right by the Tybee Lighthouse and Museum.

Tybee Market is our only grocery store on the island. The meat department is very good, and the deli sandwiches are made to order and big enough for two people to share. You can get whatever food items you need for your visit without having to leave the island.

Tip--pick up a sandwich from the IGA deli to take as a picnic.

Our new Marine Science Center is open on the north end of the island Thursday - Sunday, 10 am - 4pm.
It is close to the Tybee Lighthouse and Museum , and North Beach Grill.
You can learn about coastal Georgia and take beach walks, marsh walks. It’s a great place to take the kids to learn, and it has a nice playground.

The pier is at the end of Tybrisa street and very close to the condo. You can fish from the end of the pier, either with your own pole, or you can rent one on the pier. Look back at the beach from the end of the pier.

Tybee is great for biking or walking.
You can be a kid again and bike just about anywhere you want to go on the island. You can rent bikes by the day or week.
We like Fat Tire Bike near the corner of 14th & Butler, next to StingRay's. There are also golf cart rentals.
