This area is about 20 minutes drive. It has a small welcome center with information about the area. There are many waterfowl at different times of the year. You can usually find an alligator somewhere if you look hard enough.

This park is very close to our home, less than 3 miles. It has playground equipment as well as a short hiking trail. It is great for hot days and young children who do not want to be outside long.
