Best views around and local favorite! Free parking on the Mt. Pleasant side at Waterfront Park near the visitors center. Walk 1 mile to the top then turn around or walk the full 2.5 miles across each way. If you're feeling really adventurous, rent a bike share downtown and cycle across it!

Food Scene
Casual fine dining, reservations recommended, but u do have the option of 3 walk-in tables in the front. Romantic setting, beef carpaccio is my favorite, and I've never had a bad meal from the place!

Beautiful & free park downtown. Bring a picnic lunch hour blanket and lay out with a book! Also has a farmers market on Saturdays with amazing local food trucks.

Schedule a walking tour during the day or a ghost tour at night through this neighborhood. Charleston history and culture it's really really cool, I highly recommend. And I never even liked history before I moved here! The company I use is Bulldog tours downtown (I recommend booking in advance if you can) but there's a bunch you can just walk up to book at the city market.
