This sets them apart from other animal farms just looking to make an extra buck! The facility is extremely informative and it's definitely worth a visit! You can even hold a baby croc if you dare!

The cutest little historic Greek town with the largest Greek community in the US. I love the sponge docks, you can definitely make a day out of it walking around the shops, eating and relaxing! There's even a beach nearby ( Fred Howard ) where you can enjoy a sunset!

It is about an hours drive from my home (very scenic though as you will go over the skyway bridge!) and downtown Sarasota is not far from the beach. It's always a good day to explore Fort Desota. It is about $5 cash to enter the fort and there is a multitude of activities to be had here. You can enjoy the beach, you can explore the old fort, you can ferry to egmont key or rent some bikes and explore the few miles of bike path.

Fort De Soto ParkIt's always a good day to explore Fort Desota. It is about $5 cash to enter the fort and there is a multitude of activities to be had here. You can enjoy the beach, you can explore the old fort, you can ferry to egmont key or rent some bikes and explore the few miles of bike path.
Take the ferry from Fort Desoto and make a day of Egmont Key!! I recommend going on a weekday to avoid any additional crowds. Great place for snorkeling as well :)

The very famous Vinoy Hotel is an iconic historic building in downtown St. Petersburg! Great place for photos and just admiring in general. Nearby is the waterfront Vinoy Park which hosts events often.

You have to take the ferry from HONEYMOON ISLAND about 45 - 60 minutes away from my home to get here. You can rent kayaks on the island and explore the mangroves, see manatees, dolphins and the like! Relax on the beach all day and collect shells. It's fantastic!

The Beach Trolley is a great and inexpensive way of getting around all the pinellas beaches! I leave a schedule in the handmade binder in the apartment, take a picture of the schedule and make your way along the Gulf Coast in style!

The best time to visit Pier 60 is on Fridays! Enjoy street performers and local vendors selling their handmade items on the pier. Clearwater also hosts movie nights on the beach on Fridays too! A very fun and cool date night for sure!
