Brunch in Granary Square is lovely (Dishoom is amazing- if you’ve never had an Indian breakfast it’s delicious, but be prepared to queue)
We also love buying a bottle of wine from Waitrose and drinking it on the steps in Granary Square in the summer- there are often events and film screenings there to watch whilst you relax :)

The Wellcome Collection is our favourite local museum- you can see Napoleans toothbrush and they usually have a number of really interesting exhibitions on.

Wander around Kings Cross station and theres loads to see- shops like Space NK and & Others Stories, platform 9 ¾ Harry Potter shop,the longest champagne bar in the world at the top of St Pancras Station, have a splendid cocktail at the Great Northern Hotel Plum and Spilt Milk bar, see where Spice Girls filmed “WannaBe”.

Walking along the canal in either direction is lovely….
Go right to Camden where there is a lovely market, food stalls, the pub that Amy Winehouse used to frequent (The Hawley Arms). If you keep going along the canal you go past a floating Chinese restaurant, a signpost towards Primrose Hill (watching sunset here is well recommend) and you can walk all the way to Little Venice through the middle of London Zoo! You can also do a lovely trip on a canal boat along here in the summer.
Wander left along the canal towards Angel Islington. You’ll reach Granary Square/Coal Drops Yard first where there’s loads to see- the Granary Square fountains, Wolf and

There are some really nice pubs in the area- the Colonel Fawcett just down the road or the Spread Eagle in Camden Town.
Really good thai restaurant Sen Viet (20 minute walk) or they serve thai at the Old Eagle pub which is also really nice
Flat iron for cheap steak
Franco Manca or Pizza Union for yummy pizza
Delhi Grill- indian food on Chapel Market (20 minute walk)
