There are really a lot of shops in Cashiers, Brevard, and the Highlands...too many to list, these are just a few of my favorites. Cashiers has a lot of great shops, lot's of art stores around Brevard and just fun stores, Highlands has a lot of high end clothing stores and other interesting stores. All great places to look and browse around in.

Things to do around the area
Lake Toxaway is a Private lake, boat rentals are available to you as a guest of a property owner/renter. No outside boats are allowed on the lake. If you rent a boat you may tie up at our dock. Boat rentals, skis, wake boards, tubes, paddle boards, life jackets are available.

Paved trail with short easy walk to see the Upper Falls, then you can take the stairs down for another breathtaking view and if you're up to it take the tail down to the bottom. Parking area and a small fee...I believe $2 for the day. We enjoy this hike a lot.
