Denver is known for its fun, robust and unique food scene. Here are some of my favorites but you can explore almost any neighborhood in Denver and stumble upon several delicious eats.

This has to be one of my favorite burger joints in the city! They also have cajun chicken strips to die for and creative salads. On a warm day, they have an awesome outdoor space that you can kick back with a drink in your hand and do some great people watching.

A mom & pop breakfast joint that never disappoints. They also have a full bar and make a mean bloody mary. They close at 2pm.

Hands down the best steak I've had in Denver. This is a great place for date night or just to go out and be seen. They have a live DJ to provide amazing beats through your whole experience. Not to mention the atmosphere, it's almost like eating in the middle of a fancy club.

Their margaritas are so strong you are limited to 3 per person. Trust me...you don’t need much more. The food is delicious and their outdoor patio is pet friendly and a great backdrop for a sunny afternoon.

Sightseeing
The city converted a once nearly abandoned Union Station into a thriving and exciting experience. Not only can you catch the train to the airport from here, but you have access to Denver's bus and electric rail system. Union Station is also home to multiple restaurants, shops and an exclusive hotel bar that boasts views over the entire station.

1700 Wewatta StreetThe city converted a once nearly abandoned Union Station into a thriving and exciting experience. Not only can you catch the train to the airport from here, but you have access to Denver's bus and electric rail system. Union Station is also home to multiple restaurants, shops and an exclusive hotel bar that boasts views over the entire station.
Located where the Cherry Creek and Platte River merge. There are miles of walking and biking trails or its just fun to take a picnic basket full of snacks and grab a spot near the water and watch the kayakers and dogs swimming in the river. And don't worry, if you run out of food or drinks...there is typically a hot dog/pretzel vendor nearby and there is a Starbucks inside the REI that is directly on the other side of the river.

With their revolving door of exhibits you never know what you'll get to experience. You can take a tour or do a self-guided tour through the museum. Before you head inside be sure to stop and admire the architecture of the building.

This liquor store is just two blocks away, West on Colfax, and has an entire city block filled with amazing liquor and wine selections. Their pricing is very competitive and they also offer light bites and snacks for that last-minute party.

Nothing says good morning like a mimosa and a late breakfast. 🥂
Best pancakes hands down (and I don’t even really care for packages). They have an extensive brunch menu with lots of creative options but get there early or be prepared to wait. You can also download the Snooze app on your phone and can put yourself on the wait list before arriving, which I highly recommend.

We never want to need a doctor but if you need an urgent care, this is my favorite place to go. You can add your name to the waitlist prior to arriving via their website: www.afcurgentcaredenver.com. They are always kind, quick and accept most US insurance plans.

The quickest cure (in my opinion) for a hang over, elevation sickness or to help kick a cold. IV hydration has saved me many of times from all three. Their prices are reasonable and usually have walk-in availability. They also have vitamin B12 shots which are a quick way to add a little energy back into your life and a pep in your step.
