Nice place, close to the house with restaurant, bar and pizzeria. There is also a nice quiet area where to stay outside.

This is probably one of the oldest and most known bars in Chia. The place due to its location is normally crowded, but if you are going to the Torre Chia and Sa Colonia beaches you will find it very handy.

The tower was erected in 1578 and it was built in order to defend the mouth of the Chia river, which was used to eradicate the threat of pirates. The building stands on a promontory where, originally, the acropolis of the ancient center of Bithia was located and it overlooks the whole surrounding area.

It is a nuraghe with an extension of about 70 meters consisting of 4 towers connected by a wall. The main tower is visible through an opening practiced in the past by tombars on the dome wall, from here you can see the whole room with a diameter of 4-5 meters.

The beach is located at the right of the Chia tower. The dimension of the beach vary depending on winter waves and wind and submarines streams. The sand colour is a mix of white, yellow and pink. Sometime after a big storm, ancient Phoenician structures emerge from the sand.
From the parking there is an easy access to the beach for disabled people. There are also toilets and showers. In summertime , normally from June to September the parking is not free.
