I LOVE this place. It is basically a gourmet food court with a bar in the center and a fun restaurant/community vibe. All of the food stalls are from delicious local restaurants. There are tons of Vegan/Vegetarian options including one entirely Vegan stall (Stall 11). It is in the Remington (R) neighborhood.

If you like southern cooking (i.e. Shrimp-n-grits, seafood gumbo, etouffee, etc.) you'll be in heaven at Miss Shirley's. There are two locations - One in Roland Park and one at the Inner Harbor. Both are great and if you go on the weekend (especially for brunch), plan to wait a while to be seated.

This restaurant not only has delicious seafood, but is surrounded by glass and literally protrudes out into the Inner Harbor, offering some of the best views of Baltimore you will ever find. It's also right across the street from the American Visionary Art Museum, so combine both of them (and a climb to the top of Federal Hill) into a day trip and create memories to last a lifetime.

It is the largest park in the City and is only a few blocks away. It is largely natural and there are extensive trails throughout it on which you can walk, hike or bike. Even though it's in the middle of a major city, you'll feel like you are far out in the wilderness, away from all the bustle.

Essentials
It is close, clean and certainly adequate, but definitely not "gourmet." Remember: Maryland does not allow the sale of liquor in Grocery stores. You MUST go to a designated liquor/wine shop.

Considerably nicer, but a tad further. Again, remember, you can't buy alcohol in grocery stores in Maryland.

Pubs/Bars
This is just a fabulous hole-in-the-wall retro pub with cool retro drinks and real noir-ish speak-easy vibe. It is a great place to go for after-dinner drinks or to meet-up for happy hour. They do have light fare snacks, too.
You will not find this place just casually driving around. It is fairly challenging to find even when you know what you're looking for as it is just really understated on the outside (in a residential neighborhood), but fabulous on the inside.
