Situated in Hatteras Village, our cabana #33 is an free-standing efficiency, pet friendly condo just steps away from the beach. Enjoy a view of the ocean from the rooftop deck. The National Park Service maintains the adjacent beach which is part of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This is the only beach in the Carolinas where you can enjoy the warmth and romance of a fire on the beach. Pets are allowed with a $50 pet fee plus tax which will be submitted separate from you rate request.

The free standing elevated cabana has three decks including a roof top deck with an ocean view. Ground level parking is provided under the unit. The entry deck has a picnic table. Enjoy an evening wine or cocktail from the two life guard chairs on the the roof top deck. The cabana has a 32-inch flat screen TV, Heat/AC, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots/pans, cutlery, silverware, glasses, mattress pads, pillows and comforter.

NOTE: As is customary with most beach rentals, you will need to provide your own sheets, pillow cases and towels (bed is a full size). Due to Covid-19 cleaning protocols, we have been asked to no longer provide a bedspread/blanket and pillows. Therefore, you will need to bring these items with you along with sheets and towels. Note: Sheet sets and towel sets are available to rent from the cleaning staff for a nominal fee with several days notice. You may Also check with them for availability of pillows and a bedspread/blanket. A starter bag of a roll of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, body soap and dish soap is provided.

COVID-19 Enhanced Cleaning Fee: We will continue to absorb the regular cleaning fee, however, due to the Covid-19 cleaning protocol, there is now a cleaning charge of $15.

Wifi is available. Unfortunately on Hatteras Island the wifi quality is on the poor side.

Dogs are allowed with a $50 pet fee plus tax which will be submitted separate from your rate request. The pet fee is a one time fee for your entire stay. We ask that you adhere to the Pet Policy provided below.

Pet Policy
Guests are responsible for the actions of their pets. All pets must be leashed at all times on the property. Please walk your pets and clean up after them on the grounds. You may dispose of your bags in the dumpster located at the front of the property.

Please do not leave your pets for long periods of time on the porch or decks.

Please do not leave them unattended in the cabana for long periods of time as well. If possible leaving them in a crate if you go out, may be the best as they are not in familiar surroundings and may become nervous. We understand that they may bark infrequently and very briefly.

We appreciate you abiding by this policy.

VACATION LEASE AGREEMENT This is a Vacation Rental Agreement. The rights and obligations of the parties to this agreement and include unique provisions permitting the expedited eviction of tenants. Your payment of money or taking possession of the property after receipt of this agreement is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intention to use this property for a vacation rental. Thank you for making your reservation through Airbnb.

Linens are not provided.

Check-in time is any time after 4 PM.

Please carefully read the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Your payment of money or taking possession of the property after receipt of this agreement is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use this property for a vacation rental.

In consideration of the advance rent payment received and the mutual promises herein, the Owner of the Hatteras Cabana "Another Day in Paradise" does hereby lease and rent to Tenant the certain property described within for the following terms and (website hidden) AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Cancellation Policy: AirBnB flexible policy
•Cleaning fees are always refunded if the guest did not check in.
•The Airbnb service fee is non-refundable.
•If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Airbnb within 24 hours of check-in.
•Airbnb will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
•A reservation is officially canceled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
•Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Guest Refund Policy, safety cancellations, or extenuating circumstances. Please review these exceptions.
•Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.

2. Taxes: A 6.75% state sales tax and a 6% county occupancy tax are required on all rents and other fees associated with the reservation except for refundable Security Deposit. Taxes are subject to change without notice.

3. Security Deposit: The security deposit will be refunded to you within 48 hours of your departure provided there was not damage to the unit.

4. Check-Out: Cleaning and inspection depends upon your timely departure so that the Premises can be ready for the next scheduled tenants. Tenant is responsible for returning all furniture to original positions, vacuuming, sweeping all floor surfaces, putting away dishes, taking out trash and placing it in the provided outside dumpster, and closing and locking all windows and doors. Failure to follow proper check-out procedures will result in a charge to the security deposit. Premises must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of check-out.or Tenant will be in material breach of this agreement expedited eviction against them. Any keys not returned to the office will be subject to a $10.00 per key lost key charge.

5. Occupancy: The maximum number of guests permitted may not exceed four.

6. Rules of the House. Tenant hereby acknowledges that they have read the terms and conditions of this Agreement as set forth herein and the "House Rules" for this property on the Airbnb website and that they will abide by and be bound by all of the terms and conditions therein.

7. Age Requirement: 19 unless 18 with AirBnB reviews. In the event that we determine at check-in that the tenant does not meet the specified age requirement Tenant will be in material breach of this lease and will be denied access to the Premises or be subject to immediate expedited eviction and will forfeit all rents and fees paid. Tenant agrees to furnish proper photo identification at check-in to verify that they are the Tenant as set forth herein and that they meet the specified age requirements. These rules are strictly enforced!

8. Pets. Dogs are permitted with the appropriate pet fee. We permit one housebroken dog unless additional dogs are disclosed and pre-approved at time of reservation. An additional $50 (plus tax) non-refundable pet fee is required for each approved dog. Any non-declared or unapproved pets will be charged the standard $50 non-refundable pet fee as well as a $70 non-declared pet fee for a total of $120 per pet per visit plus applicable taxes. This rule is strictly enforced! Agent reserves the right to inspect Premises without notice to verify compliance with all pet rules.

9.This is a Non-Smoking Cabana: If evidence of smoking within the Cabana is detected then the entire cost of cleaning and deodorizing will be charged against the security deposit. Non-Smoking rules are strictly enforced.

10. Noise: Dare County's noise ordinance is enforceable from 11 PM to 7AM

11. Maintenance and Repairs. Every reasonable effort is made to keep each property and its equipment in good working order. Please call John promptly of any difficulty you incur during your stay. Due to the remote nature of our area and the inability to obtain replacement parts quickly, immediate servicing of malfunctioning units often is not possible. Therefore the microwave, TV, air conditioner and other non-essential items cannot be guaranteed to be operational. Upon notice by Tenant we will make every effort to have such items repaired as quickly as possible. Replacements are not provided. There will be no rebates or discounts. The Landlord shall have the right to inspect Premises during tenancy and make repairs during the rental period.

12. Limitations of Remedies, Damages and Indemnity: In the event the owner is unable to deliver possession of Premises to Tenant under this lease agreement Tenant hereby agrees that their sole remedy is a full refund of any and all rents, fees, taxes and refundable security deposits made to Owner, and that Tenant will hold harmless Owner for any consequential or secondary damages that Tenant suffers due to the unavailability of Premises, including but not limited to expenses incurred as a result of travel, or renting alternative housing. Owner is responsible for all refunds of advance rental payments made by tenant. If Premises is unavailable for occupancy due to inaccessibility due to storms or storm damage no refunds will be given. Tenant also agrees that in the case of a double booking, Tenant is only entitled to the full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Tenant. Tenant agrees to release and indemnify the Owner from and against all liability for injury to the person of the Tenant or to any member of their household resulting from any cause whatsoever, except for such personal injury caused by the gross negligence or intentional acts of the Owner. Tenant shall not be entitled to any refund due to unfavorable weather, voluntary or mandatory evacuation, or disruption of utility services (including internet and cable TV). Tenant agrees to be responsible for any necessary repairs due to their intentional or negligent acts or failure to act as well as any pet damage.

13. Separability of Provisions. If by operation of law any provision of this agreement is or becomes unenforceable, all remaining lawful provisions shall be enforceable.
YOUR PAYMENT ON THIS AGREEMENT OF MONEY OR TAKING POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY AFTER RECEIPT OF THE AGREEMENT IS EVIDENCE OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT AND YOUR INTENT TO USE THIS PROPERTY FOR A VACATION RENTAL

Situated across Pamlico Sound 25 miles from the North Carolina mainland to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east our Cabana allows you to enjoy the remoteness of Hatteras Island and Hatteras Village. The National Park Service maintains the adjacent beach which is part of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This is the only beach in the Carolinas where you can enjoy the warmth and romance of a fire on the beach. Sound side kayaking is easily accessible with a county put in at the Hatteras Island Ocean Center less than a quarter of a mile down the road. Or enjoy ocean kayaking just a few steps away past the the sand dune.

A good cup of Joe at the eclectic "Dancing Turtle Coffee Shop" about a mile down the road on your left heading towards the ferry to Ocracoke at 58079 NC Hwy. 12. Current hours are Tues. - Sun. 6:30 a.m. to Noon. Closed on Mondays.

My wife and I live on the Pamlico River on the Inner Banks of North Carolina. It is a wonderful place. Visiting our condo in the mountains is a special treat for us and we always hate to leave. Taking a walk around Seven Devils is so special with breathtaking views everywhere you look! Enjoy!
