A tiny cabin in a cornfield/soybean field with chestnut and walnut trees.

The cabin is setback from the other single family houses, apartments, cabins on 2 acres just by itself. There is even a fence separating the small community from the cabin and 60 acres of corn or soybeans.

Remote in rural Pennsylvania but, just a mile from Scottdale city centre. There you will find 2 stop lights, several restaurants including a 50's soda fountain with 50's favorites, post office, DOLLAR STORE, etc.

Outside? Fields of wheat, lawn with a deck. Small covered area with heavy duty furniture and a large deck with a picnic table and benches.

Firepit with kindling and logs.

Private drive from W Pittsburgh St 700' to the Mountain View Inn/cabin.

I'm Don... Retired IT security specialist and systems analyst for EXXONMOBIL, PPG, PILLSBURY, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.

I have lived in Aruba Netherlands Antilles, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas. I have a wife of 46 years and 3 sons. We have traveled to 48 states including Hawaii and Alaska and to most of Canada's Provinces including the Yukon, Labrador, Nova Scotia and several more. Trips to northern Africa to visit Egypt and Morocco and most of Europe rounds out our travels. Visits to Vietnam and Japan were courtesy of the Department of Defense.

The building of Lake Eron Park and Homes in the Allegheny Mountain foothills is the final chapter in post-retirement. Next is to enjoy the lakeside park through the season's.

I have learned the hard way that our guests did not come to their enclave to talk to me. Mostly they are not interested in where I met my wife nor hearing of my childhood adventures.
Therefore, check-in and Check-out are seamless with no interpersonal contact required.

A detailed instruction guide is provided prior to move-in. However, I am available at any time to engage in a diatribe of my life and its ups and downs. Just text and I'll be at the fireside to speak at length.
