The property is within a 20-minute walk or 3-minute drive from Dornoch town centre. Lower Whinhill benefits from having off-street parking, free Wi-Fi and is dog friendly. Great family holiday home with easy access to the north Highland routes.

Ground floor: The modern lounge/ sun lounge offers guests a bright, airy room with L-shaped settee, TV with Freeview channels and a music station. The sun lounge has 4 armchairs, patio door with access to decked area. Great views toward the Dornoch Firth. The kitchen/ dining area is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine/ dryer, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans and plenty of kitchenware. The dining table has 6 chairs. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, bedside cabinets with lights, chest of drawers, built in mirrored wardrobe and a wall mounted mirror. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a bath, shower, wash hand basin and toilet. The wet room has a shower with wall mounted stool, toilet and wash hand basin. Suitable for guests with mobility restrictions.

1st floor: The second bedroom consists of a super-king bed (this is the standard set up unless otherwise requested) or 2 singles, bedside cabinets with lights, chest of drawers, vanity mirror and a radio. The third bedroom is furnished with a super-king bed (this is the standard set up unless otherwise requested) or 2 singles, bedside cabinets with lights, chest of drawers, vanity mirror and radio. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, wash hand basin, mirror and toilet.

The garden/ outside is a fenced garden at the front of the house, mainly grass. Decked seating area with outside furniture and a BBQ. Washing line. Off-road parking for 3 cars in the driveway to the side and at the front of the house.

There is an ironing board and iron and hairdryer.

The house has underfloor heating on the ground floor and electric heaters upstairs.

Food shops: There is a Co-op and a convenience store in Dornoch. The Co-op is usually open until 10pm. Tesco, Asda and Lidl supermarkets are in Tain which is a few miles south of Dornoch.
Restaurants: Luigi’s on Castle Street, Sutherland House, Links House, The Eagle Hotel, a few others also.
Pubs: The Dornoch Inn, The Eagle Hotel, Castle Whisky Bar & Bistro, a few others.
Takeaway food: Chinese, Indian, Harry Gow bakers.

Gael Holiday Homes is a family run business which has been providing rental of quality assured rental cottages, holiday homes, log cabins and apartments across the Highlands of Scotland for 10 years.

We only provide quality rentals in the Highlands and operate from our booking office in Dingwall in the Highlands.

We are the booking agent for the owners and can be contacted at our office in Dingwall during the following hours Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00 and Saturdays 9:30 - 12:00 prior to your arrival.
