Welcome to Island Sands Unit 206, an oceanfront community that sits on the waterfront away from the road. Spectacular ocean, island, and Haleakala views!

This lovely oceanfront two-bedroom two bath condo offers stunning ocean views from the lanai, master bedroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. There is a separate lanai entrance from the master bedroom and another entrance from the living room area. This second floor condo interior size is 802 sq. ft., including the outdoor covered lanai increases the living space to 913 sq. ft.

This home includes a window air conditioner in the living room and four ceiling fans throughout. FREE 5G (400 Mbps) speed Wi-Fi Internet for your laptop and other devices. This nicely updated home has new wood floors. The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, full-size fridge, and washer/dryer inside the unit. There is a telephone for free calls to the USA and Canada and basic cable TV channels.

The master bedroom and second bedroom each have a Queen size bed.

Everything you need for your Maui vacation is included: linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, and much more!

This home is a wonderful value and sleeps up to 4 people. Please ask permission for extra people. There is an extra charge per night for the 5th and 6th guests. We must pre-approve this request in writing.

The complex has an oceanfront swimming pool with lounge chairs for sunbathing. Enjoy dining and cooking your meals outdoors. There are propane BBQ grills, tables, and chairs for your convenience.

Island Sands is a quiet, friendly place with Aloha Friday. Enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts 8:00-9:00 am.

Ma`alaea Bay is where the whales play and have their babies. Humpback whales can be seen in abundance from your lanai from November through April. If there is a big south swell, the wave of the harbor, "Freight Trains," can be one of the best in the world attracting expert surfers.

Heading south along with the sidewalk and past a few condominium resorts is Haycraft Park and Sugar Beach, the longest undeveloped beach on the island. This is a great beach to swim; walk, jog, bird watch, and shell hunt for miles in peace, away from the crowds. The beach is several miles long and eventually connects you to the community of Kihei.

Less than a mile walk along with the sidewalk head north to the shops and restaurants at Ma'alaea Harbor. The harbor amenities include snorkel and tour boats to Molokini Crater and sunset dinner cruises. Experience family fun at the Pacific Whale Foundation, Maui Ocean Center, Maui Golf, and Sports Park with miniature golf, trampoline, rock climbing, and bumper boats.

This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, approximately twenty minutes to Lahaina, Wailea, and to OGG airport. Another twenty-five minutes to Pa'ia and Makawao town. Kealia National Wildlife Refuge and the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is a short drive away approximately a 5 to 10-minute drive. There is a Maui Bus stop at Ma`alaea Village, from here you can take the public bus system to almost anywhere on the island.

* Every Maui Vision property listed is a non-smoking home; this includes the lanai (balcony) and hallways.

* There is a $200 fine for smoking. There is a designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building.

* Guest will be charged for extra cleaning or damage to the unit beyond normal wear and tear. NO SMOKING ALLOWED inside the unit or outside on the lanai or hallways. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

Maui Vision is a business I love because I get to share the Aloha Spirit, the beauty of the land, and talk story with people from around the world. It is nice to know that we can contribute to someone’s Hawaiian vacation experience in a positive way. We love to hear back from our happy guests.

I used to live on the island of Oahu with my US Navy family when I was young. We later moved to Southern California. I knew one day I would return to Hawaii, the place I fell in love with long ago. I took a leap of faith and purchased my Maui condo June 2002 this was the beginning of fulfilling her prophecy to once again return to Hawaii soil.

I am a tropical expression artist who paints on canvas and etched metal. My work is inspired by the beauty of the islands and has been displayed in several Maui art galleries over the years. I am a writer and have my first book on Amazon. I recently took up hula dancing and love to immerse myself in the culture and grace of this island.
