Great location with harbour views, only a few minutes walk to main amenities and 3 miles of golden sandy beaches and dunes. A 10 minutes walk to a heated outdoor swimming pool and 5 minutes to the station.

Renovations: style and feel of the original building were retained. Wooden floors downstairs and carpeting upstairs. Bay windows with views over the estuary and sea.
The property is NOT wheel chair friendly.
Now with A/C in the bedrooms to sleep 4 adults or 2 adults + 3 kiddies.

Harbour-facing living room with bay window and modern gas fireplace. Downstairs shower room. Open plan kitchen/diner with sky lights and all the usual appliances. Upstairs family bathroom with one double bedroom and one smaller bedroom. All linen and utilities included in price. Can sleep 4 adults or 2 adults + 3 small children with the bottom bunk being shared.

Being built many years ago this is NOT a wheel chair friendly house. There are steps leading to the front door and steps dropping down from the garden to the rear kitchen door.

The whole house has been extensively re-modelled. Work was completed late 2017. This includes modern technology and safety features. The house boasts all new wiring including smoke and CO alarms, WiFi and satellite TV. Hair dryers in both bathrooms and full gas central heating. Bathroom upstairs and WC/Shower downstairs. Garden at rear slopes up to entry off rear laneway. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and laundry.

There are televisions in both bedrooms with a main smart TV in the living room. This receives both the local Freeview UK TV channels and satellite TV. The satellite picks up many foreign language channels including German and French.

Within walking distance of main train line and local amenities. These include supermarket, public houses, restaurants, take-aways, galleries, quirky shops and a café next door. Also, nearby are St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole and other Cornish holiday delights.

Hayle is reached either by road on the A30 or by main line rail. By road using satnav, key in the post code which is TR27 4BQ.

53 Penpol Terrace is easy to find using the maps provided. Sea Pinks is painted bright pink. It faces the harbour and is almost opposite the ASDA supermarket. It is about 200 yards from the Royal Standard pub on the corner and Philps Pasty shop is just a few yards further on. Once at Sea Pinks entry may be gained by either the front door or the rear gate. Drive through the pub car park, enter our rear wooden gate, open garage door, park car inside. Garage is 32M x 5.0M internal size.

There is a main line rail station within walking distance of Sea Pinks. One may walk along the back lane and gain access through our garden gate which has the number 53 and is un-painted next to our white garage door. There is a motion detecting light over the gate plus key safe.

There is parking in the lane behind the house. We have a garage off the back lane. The size is 3.2M x 5.0M internal.

Drive through pub car park up slight slope then between two granite posts. Along about 100 yards there is an old bridge on your left. Over to your right and a few feet on there is our garden gate and the garage door. Keysafe to get through gate then open garage and park car.

Hayle is all about the golden sands and the view of St Ives Bay. This is within walking distance with great facilities at the beach itself. But the town is quite buzzy with a pub only yards away opposite Philps Pasty shop.

Penpol Terrace is its own little community. The neighbours either side are well aware that guests will be coming to stay from time to time and have been very welcoming of this new development. Two doors down is a small café open three days a week. Further along is a fish & chip shop. Beyond that are other small shops including a post office and an ice cream parlour. Then there is a Spar and a great Italian restaurant. Behind the Italian is the main line railway station. Further around the corner is a LLoyds Bank. The Hayle Heritage Centre is across the road from Lloyds and is of course a rich insight into the history of the town.

In the other direction toward the beach is the Royale Standard pub and Philps Pasties (famous throughout the area). Just beyond that there is an outdoor heated swimming pool, historic walks and a marvellous recreation ground with skate park tennis courts and children's play area and café. Surrounded by local farm shops and major shops such as M&S, Next, Costa, Home Bargains mixed in with local individual fashion and craft shops. Hayle is also home to Bird Paradise Park which is a fine day out for animal lovers.
