Your vacation awaits in this charming, renovated century home of 2 large bedrooms & one sleeping nook. Sleeps 6 easily. Our mattresses are high quality from Camlen Furniture. Huge open living/dining room, full, renovated, fully equipped kitchen with a unique penny tiled backsplash, full laundry facilities. Lovely views of the village. Walking paths to the Saturday market and beach...15-30 minutes to 4 ski hills, tubing, hiking. Near Granby zoo, Bromont water park...Only 1. 15 hr from Montreal!

This is a 150 year old cottage that was converted into shops and apartments in the early 20th Century. We have restored the upper floors back to their original splendor-original pine flooring, exposed beams. It is a beautiful spot that overlooks the historic library park as well as our iconic Coldbrook Park and pond. Your stay in our apartment is a home away from home. There are two full bedrooms, including one in the loft, two bathrooms, a big new kitchen, which is fully stocked, a huge living room and laundry facilities. The apartment is very spacious!
PLEASE TAKE NOTE-This is an old space and the floors are crooked between the kitchen and half of the living room. There is no way to correct this situation easily. (We've looked into it!) Enjoy it as is :)

When you arrive you can park BEHIND the fence. Please let us know when you plan to arrive and we will leave the door open for you. The door is located up the stairs on the side for the building near the front.

**Please take note-this is part of our house. This is not a hotel. We do our best to make you feel warm and welcome. We freely tell you about the amenities we provide-of which we feel there are many. However, if you come and leave comments about what renovations you feel we should make or that there is no balcony-well, we never claim there is one-maybe this property isn't the right one for you.

Knowlton has been named one of the most beautiful villages of Quebec many times over. We are centrally located and you can walk to some wonderful cafes, restaurants and boutiques. We are also a 15 minute drive to Ski Mont Sutton, Ski Bromont ( and the waterpark), 5 minutes to 2 golf courses in Brome Lake, 45 minutes from Ski Jay Peak in Vermont. Ski Orford is 30 minutes away. There is also a beautiful, clean lake for swimming, boating and ice fishing. We are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Montreal. 35 minutes from Granby zoo.

I am a long-time resident of Knowlton. Although I moved away for 17 years, I came back when I had my children to be closer to my family. I am now a real estate broker for Les Immeubles Coldbrook and I love matching people with their perfect home! My husband owns the gym on the first floor of our building.
My parents and siblings run a furniture manufacturing company called, Camlen Furniture, also situated in Knowlton for the past 35 years!
We purchased this crazy, old building in the middle of "downtown" Knowlton 7 years ago and basically had to rip it down to its post and beam original structure. It had been renovated so many times over the past 150 years that we got rid of 8 LARGE containers of construction crap before being able to see the original beauty it once was. That is what we have rebuilt upon.
On the first floor, is our town gym-which is homey and well-loved by all the members! We also will be living on the first floor pretty soon!
We have often rented houses when going on vacation and since we love Knowlton so much, we are sure you will too. We are always nearby to help with anything from recommending a restaurant or cafe or where the best ski hill is!
