Welcome to the Old Granary Holiday home. We are a high quality barn conversion with five bedrooms capable of comfortably sleeping two people in each. With half an acre of fenced land plenty of space (and views) to get away from it all.

We get great reviews from couples, families (with kids and events), outdoor and fitness groups , and dog friendly.

As part of a community of three homes it is essential that the neighbours are not disturbed by undue noise, especially after 22:00.

The accommodation is arranged over two floors with three bathrooms. The ground floor having two bedrooms a bathroom and a cloakroom. The second floor having 3 bedrooms, 1 of which is ensuite and an additional bathroom. Bedroom arrangements are as follows:
•1x Kings sized bed with en-suite bathroom
•2x double bedrooms with bathroom adjacent
•1x twin (singles)
•1x king or twin (depending on requested configuration).

I.Pictures and talk through property
a.Entrance Hall
On arriving at the property you are greeted by a double height entrance hallway.
b.Kitchen Diner
The property benefits from a traditional farm house style arrangement with central dinning table comfortably seating 12, and can be reduced in size for smaller groups, a range cooker, beautiful stone walls at either end of the room, dish washer etc.
c.Living room
The living room has two stone walls, exposed beams, a wood burner, HD Freesat, Blue Ray DVD player with surround sound. The room has four leather sofas with wonderful views down the valley through the double height windows.
d.Galleried Library
Overlooks the living room and contains a quiet, comfortable seating area, stocked with a wide range of books.
e.Bedroom 1
Contains a double bed and connected to the entrance hall by a small passage on ground floor. The room is adjacent to the downstairs bathroom/wetroom which has a toilet, sink bath and shower area.
f.Bedroom 2
Is also adjacent to the entrance hall and is furnished with a double futon.
g.Bedroom 3
Contains a double bed and connected to the upper entrance hall by a small passage way on the first floor. The room is adjacent to the upstairs bathroom which has a toilet, sink, jaccuzi bath with shower equipment.
h.Bedroom 4
Is also adjacent to the upper entrance hall and is furnished with two single beds or a double bed depending on the request of our guests, unless specified otherwise this will be configured as a twin room.

i.Master bedroom
The master bedroom is directly above the kitchen diner with a kings sized bed. There is an ensuite bathroom containing a roll top bath, separate shower cubicle, toilet and double basins.

(URL HIDDEN) Cloakroom
The kitchen diner has a separate utility room with everything you need to wash and dry clothes. The area also contains a cloakroom.
k.Outside
The outside consists of approximately half an acre of land broken into several areas
a.Parking, off street parking for up to eight cars
b.Court yards, patio with barbeque and seating area and small grassed area.
c.Recreation area cut grass
d.Meadow approximately half of the site is covered in meadow to help local bio diversity and add colour to the landscape in season.
e.Wildlife at the barn
Roaming around the .5 acre garden you will most likely see some of the birds listed and on careful investigation frogs, toads, butterflies and crickets can be found. Larger animals including badgers and foxes often leave tracks but are rarely seen.

i.Local pub The Tannery is situated just under 2 miles away on the A495. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but offer good value for money food. There Sunday lunch is immensely popular and booking in advanced is required. (URL HIDDEN)

ii.Corn Store
The Corn Store offers good quality food in the heart of Welshpool in intimate surroundings. In our view this is the best restaurant to eat an evening Meal in Welshpool.
