Menlyn Maine Luxury Rentals are privately owned self-catering apartments, we are not a hotel or part of any hotel and do not provide similar services.
Guest need to be 18 and older to make booking.
Children are welcome, there needs to be at least 1 adult(18+) accommodating children in the apartments.
If you have made a multi-room booking, we cannot guarantee for the apartments to be on the same floor.

CHECK-IN
Please ensure you have the following information to assist with a smooth check-in:

1. A copy of ID or Passport will be required at check-in for reception to verify identity for safe and security purposes.
If you are booking on behalf of someone else, please advise your guest to provide the reception with the name the booking was made under to avoid frustration at the reception. The reception will assist with check-in.

2. Check-in time starts strictly at 14:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM local time (access cards will be deactivated after this time).
It is advisable that should you require a later check-out to book an additional evening stay as we cannot guarantee that a late check-out will be possible.

3. At check-in, you will be required to complete a check-in form. The reception team will assist with activating 1 access card per apartment and provide 1 key per apartment. If an additional access card is required, the reception can assist you with downloading an app to your phone that can be used as an access card.
Please note, only 1 key is provided for security purposes.

PARKING
Secured garage parking is available in the building. The reception will provide a map of how to locate the parking bay allocated to the apartment you will be accommodating.

1. Each apartment has one parking bay allocated and for use.
2. Parking is in the secure parking garage of the building.
3. Parking is at own risk.
4. The parking facilities of the building is a wheel-clamped area.

Refrain from parking on any other parking, other than one allocated. If you fail to comply with these rules/conditions your vehicle may be clamped, and a cash fee will be charged before release. Payment to be done at Reception

CHECK-OUT
Please ensure you have read the following information to assist with a smooth check-out:

1. Check-out is strictly before 10:00 AM local time (access cards will be deactivated after this time).
2. Please remember to switch off lights and appliances and to close and lock the balcony door. Lock the apartment door and return the key and access card to reception.

Please note, a late check-out fine of R1000.00 will be payable. Should we be unable to reach you after the check-out time, and you have not yet removed your belongings from the apartment. We reserve the right to remove your belonging which can be collected at reception.
Please be mindful and considerate that we require to prepare the apartment for the next arriving guest in time for their arrival.
Lost key or access cards result in a R1000.00 fine.

WHAT SELF-CATERING APARTMENTS OFFER

1. Cleaning:
Cleaning services are available during weekdays only between 9am and 3pm (not including public holidays). Please inform us should you be interested in our cleaning services, prior to arrival date. There will be a service charge payable to Housekeeping Africa prior to receiving the service(s). We provide a mop and bucket in the utilities area should you have an accident (please do not use the linen or towels for cleaning).

2. Laundry:
For our longer staying guests, we offer a once a week change of all linen in the apartment.
Additional or personal laundry will be at an additional charge and should be arranged well in advance.
Personal laundry can only be returned in 3-4 business days and we do not take any responsibility for lost or damaged items.

3. Amenities and Beverages:
A complimentary amenities and beverage welcome pack is supplied on arrival, should you require additional amenities and beverages, these will be charged and payable to Housekeeping Africa.

4. Entertainment:
The apartment is equipped with Netflix (no DSTV) and WiFi (Login details can be found on the back of the apartment door).

APARTMENT BEDDING AND LINENS

Our self-catering apartment are all equipped with a queen-size bed or larger. Some of our 1 Bedroom apartments are equipped with an additional sofa-bed in the living room. Our beds are all prepared for our guests, however, the linen for the sofa-bed can be found in the cupboard in the bedroom.
We do not prepare the sofa-bed for guest prior to arrival as many guests want to use the seating area and only use the sofa-bed during the evening.

We do not offer the services to change bed sizes.
We do not change the queen size bed to twin beds or bring in extra beds or provide cots.

For guest who stay with us for more than a week, we will do a complimentary linen change once per week. For additional linen changes, please ensure this arranged in advance.

Please note that we are not a hotel, and do not provide the same services as hotels, as our apartments are privately owned. Our staff are not on the premises 24 hours.

KITCHENENETTE
Our apartments come with a fully furnished equipped kitchenette, along with microwave, stove, oven, kettle and toaster.
Please report any damaged items as soon as possible.

SWIMMING POOL
All our guests have access to the roof top and ground floor swimming pools. Please note, the roof top restaurant occasionally hosts private function, during which time this swimming pool will not be accessible to guests.

Please be reminded that we are a self-catering privately owned establishment and appreciate if you treat our apartments as such. Please report any damage or issues immediately.

Our operating ours are between 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
For urgent issues not related to the apartment, please report to reception.
For urgent issues after our operating ours, please send a Watts app us and we will assist as soon as possible.

Please note that should we not be able to host you at our apartment, due to unforeseen circumstances, that we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. We will try our utmost best to allow enough time for our guests and assist with alternative accommodation where possible.

But must be requested at least 24 hours prior arrival date and is subject to availability and at an additional charge. • Check in time before 2pm (14h00) is charged at additional fee, unless informed otherwise. • No check in is allowed after 11pm (23h00) unless arranged otherwise. • Check out time on departure day is strictly no later than 10am (10h00). • Late departures after 10am (10h00) is subject to availability and must be requested 24 hours prior departure date, addition at an additional charge. • No check out is allowed after 2pm (14h00) unless arrange otherwise.

There is a concierge desk where the reception team will assist with check-in and check-out. Please note the concierge only assists with key management and issue related to the building, they are not responsible for any problems related to the apartment itself.

All guests have access to the roof top pool and restaurant, as well as the gardens on the ground floor.
