The restaurant at Mangroove Bay is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering fusion cuisine with a Mediterranean touch. Relax at the bar with a cocktail or a cold beer and reminisce about your day with the bartender.
You can also ask the shuttle to drive you to our two restaurants uphill — Senja and Suma — both with spectacular views.
The movie room is a great space to unwind with friends after an eventful day. Organise a darts tournament, play board games, or enjoy a movie together.
Challenge your friends to petanque, darts, ping pong, or padel on our two new padel courts — great fun for all levels!
The shared kitchen is located near the movie room, fully equipped with all basic utensils for your convenience.
The Yoga Shala overlooks the mangroves with glimpses of the shimmering Bali Sea — ask our team if a yoga class is available during your stay.
Groove Gym at Mangroove Bay (Paid Access)
Groove Gym is a fully equipped functional fitness space located at Mangroove Bay, designed for everyone — from beginners to seasoned athletes. Access to the gym and all classes is available at an additional cost and is not included in your villa or room rate.
Guests can join energising group classes such as CrossFit-inspired workouts, HYROX training, Muay Thai, and functional fitness, or train independently at their own pace. Experienced trainers are on hand to guide, motivate, and help you get the most out of every session.
Groove Gym also hosts a Free Sunday morning Run Club, open to all fitness levels
We offer a free shuttle service to the Sumberkima Hill Retreat, just a short drive uphill. Enjoy their Spa with traditional or healing massages and beauty treatments (book via the Mangroove Bay team as it can get busy). The shuttle can also take you to the starting point for scenic hikes.
Metamorfosa, our resident NGO, has been restoring the coral reef with the help of local partners — creating a balanced ecosystem that benefits both nature and the community. They have built a coral nursery and an inspiring underwater art gallery where baby coral grows on sculptures themed around “change.” You’re welcome to visit this reef restoration project and get inspired by its message.
Join guided tours, sponsor coral structures, or book eco-experiences like kayaking, SUP in the bay, visiting Gili Putih (the white sand island), or snorkeling through the underwater art gallery. All proceeds go directly toward reef restoration.
We hope to be an example and learning space for other coastal communities with similar dreams and goals.
Our dive instructor Totok, CEO of Metamorfosa, is an expert on the local underwater world. He can visit Mangroove Bay to discuss your diving wishes or guide you toward your PADI certification.
Laundry service and scooter rentals are available through trusted local partners.
Daily cleaning and night security are provided for your comfort and safety.

To compensate for any potential disturbance, we’ve already included a 20% discount in the rates you see for stays during this time.
Work is limited to daytime hours, and we are doing our best to minimise any disruption to your stay. The peaceful surroundings, beautiful design, and shared facilities — including pool and restaurant— remain yours to enjoy.
