ЯСВАНТ НИВАС е 65-годишно бунгало в колониален стил, първоначално собственост на Махарадж Химмат Сингх Джи от Джодхпур (чичо на настоящия владетел Махараджа Гадж Сингх II), а по-късно закупено от баща ми, който е пенсиониран офицер от индийската армия и ветеран от войната през 1971 г. Първоначално бях производител на чай в района на Дарджилинг, а след това се преместих в Джодпур. Ваши домакини са семейството ми и нашите 2 кучета.

In the entire city of Jodhpur, it may be difficult to find a place like this. All our rooms are mostly east facing thus are flooded with natural morning sunlight, cozy, comfortable, calming space, tastefully done with a beautiful courtyard that all of them face. Each room has been crafted with special care by my family, thus are minimalistic and have furniture and stone carving done by local craftsmen and artisans. Each room has its own sanitized attached bathrooms offering hot/cold water, fresh towels, body gel, unlimited toilet roll, shampoo. The rooms are also fully air conditioned, equipped with tea / coffee Kettle, work stations for laptop, wardrobe, extra electrical points for charging your various gadgets simultaneously, this is what you'd be looking for.
We realized that modern Jodhpur is an epitome in design and incorporated that in the rooms.
EVERYTHING IS PERSONALLY SUPERVISED / MANAGED BY US.

Apart from the room, guests can access the following areas:
- The Terrace - Its accessible and open at all times where one can sit in night and chill with other friends / family members or watch the canopy of stars sprinkle stardust upon you. During day the terrace is ideal to sun bathe.
- The Dining Area- It opens out towards the courtyard and this is where we serve you your breakfast. This is accessible and open at all times should one wish to sit here and work on a laptop. This space also has a book shelf from where one can borrow a book if interested. This room also has a common attached washroom.
- The outdoor area (Courtyard) just outside the room- This is sprawled out where you can relax,soak in the morning sun while you have your tea / coffee. It is full of greenery, chirping of birds is a soothing sound while you sit here.

I live in a building in front with my family and our pets.

Our house is located almost at the center of the town, very close by to the Airport, local market and some good restaurants if one wants to explore. Our house has at least 5 good restaurants and dining areas and will be a great break from the hustle and bustle of Jodhpur - your own sanctuary in the blue city.

В продължение на близо 6 години работих в „Mehrangarh Museum Trust“ като административен мениджър, като се грижех за крепостта Джодхпур (крепостта Мехрангарх), Джасвант Тада, кенотафите в Мандор и крепостта Нагаур (крепостта Ахичатрагарх). През последните 3 години нашата резиденция е отворена за гости, които биха искали да прекарат качествено време със семейството ми и да общуват с нас. Жена ми (която е страхотна готвачка и домакиня), 16-годишният ми син, баща ми (който е пенсионер) Ваши домакини ще бъдат полковник от индийската армия, майка ми и двете ни кучета.
