A restored 1931 home in downtown Sebastopol — five bedrooms, sleeps 10, three blocks from The Barlow.

The walled courtyard is what people remember: a Mugnaini pizza oven, an Argentine grill with a hand-crank grate, a gas fireplace and a long table under string lights, wrapped in 360 degrees of garden.

Inside, a La Cornue range, a baby grand, oak floors, shelves of real books and a private gym.

THE COURTYARD

The back of the house opens onto a walled flagstone courtyard that works as a second living room. At one end sits a full outdoor kitchen: a full-size Mugnaini pizza oven — Italian-designed, restaurant-grade, built up the road in Healdsburg — a stainless Argentine grill with a hand-crank grate you raise and lower over the flame, a gas fireplace for cooler evenings, and marble prep counters with room to work.

All of it is gas-fired. Everything lights at the turn of a dial, with no wood to haul and no waiting on coals. Dinner happens at a long table under Edison string lights, with a carved stone lion-head fountain running against the far wall and copper lanterns glowing from the branches after dark.

THE GARDEN

It wraps the house on all four sides — a full 360 degrees of walkable, gated garden, mature and layered. Japanese maples, ferns, hydrangeas and purple salvia set against a tall evergreen hedge, with a majestic redwood presiding over all of it. Gravel paths and raised stone beds lead to an iron gate, a covered loggia and a spiral stair up to the balcony. Landscape lighting carries it after dark — green, private, and quiet enough to hear the fountain.

THE HOUSE

Step through a storybook arched door into oak floors, artisan millwork and sun-filled rooms. This is our home, not a staged rental, and it feels like one: high-end antiques, custom pieces, original artwork, shelves of real books, beds dressed in luxury linens. The kitchen is stocked with spices and proper cooking equipment; the baths with quality body wash and bathing essentials. Arrive with a suitcase and nothing else.

WHERE YOU ARE

Walk to artisan coffee, local bakeries, tasting rooms and the Barlow District. Russian River vineyards, golf and the Sonoma Coast are a short scenic drive — the beaches and surf breaks at Bodega Bay about half an hour west.

All water in the home runs through a three-stage filtration system. Tesla charger on site.
