Lovely quiet room in peaceful flat in South London. Well connected for trains and buses but away from the chaos. Single visitors only, male preferred, owner is a vegetarian, non-smoker, into fitness and the arts.

Hello. I've never hosted air bnb before so you have to be gentle with me.
I live in South London, near a big park called Crystal Palace.
I have a single room in a quiet small block, with lots of greenery around us, and many birds, foxes and squirrels walking or flying past. (The birds are the ones that fly!).
If you need to be in London but are not a fan of the traffic, the crowds and the chaos, then my place is the one to choose.
You will have a nice room, with tea and coffee and a fridge for your food.
I love meeting people as I find everyone interesting.
My ideal Airbnb guest would be relaxed, open, friendly and humorous. I tend to laugh a lot so I like people who are on the crazy side of normal. Having said that, if you're too crazy, you're too much for me! I do like guests to be organised, arrive when they say, and be independent.
I'm happy to make your breakfast every day, tell you all about London, and explain how to get everywhere. I will make sure you are taken care of, and safe in the big city.
If you're unsure of anything, ask and I can help. If you are not from the UK, London can be quite overwhelming

You have access to the bedroom, which is a good size. I will make your breakfast in the kitchen and the kitchen is also where you can eat in the evenings, if you are at home. There are two toilets - one for each of us, but one bathroom.
The shower is not a power shower. If you're happy with a gentle loving flow, then you're fine.

I live and work at the property so I am home most of the time, and quite busy. I'm always happy to talk though. and explain everything you might need to know about London.

I live in one of the attractive parts of South London. We have the huge Crystal Palace park at the end of the road. This is great for long walks, picnics in the summer, photography etc. Crystal Palace centre is good for restaurants, cafes and shopping. It is set high on a hill, overlooking the whole of London, so has one of the best views in the city. The air is fresh and the local people are friendly. Many international people live or study in this area.
