Immerse yourself in the Australian bush and escape to Numby- a stunning sheep and cattle station by the Lachlan River. Your base is historic Rosewood Cottage a 100+ year old stone cottage where you camp in unplugged luxury close to nature.
We provide paddock-to-plate dining for the entirety of your stay- hosted dinners and help-yourself breakfast and lunches. Perfect for friend groups or celebrations. We also have guided walking multi-day tours available. See notes on ACCESS before booking.

Rove Numby is located on a working sheep and cattle station on the banks of the Mulgowrie creek.
Sleeping arrangements are in four 5m bell tents that have 2 single beds in each tent. These are in the garden of the historic Rosewood Cottage. We provide a wool doona and 2 wool blankets plus a hot water bottle in colder weather. There is a lantern in each tent for lighting.
Rosewood Cottage is your communal space for warming up by the fire, to retreat to when its raining, perusing the library and enjoying meals- elevated homestyle food prepared by us.
We host paddock-to-plate 3 course dinners each evening and provide you with breakfast and lunches to have at your leisure. Please give us plenty of notice if there are any dietary requirements.
The bathroom is rustically styled and has:
1 separate toilet (flushing)
1 outdoor shower (hot)
1 toilet/shower room
You might like to bring- a head torch, swimmers, a warm jacket and your creature comforts

Rosewood cottage is in a totally secluded part of the farm and access to the Cottage is an adventure in itself. To get to the cottage we will coordinate with you as it is a 4WD only road. We are very happy to assist with transporting groups in and out from Rosewood Cottage to the main road or meeting you to show you the way.
Guests are welcome to use any part of the Rosewood Cottage facility besides 2 private rooms.
Numby is a 6000 hectare farm so there is plenty of space to explore. You are also welcome to take walks around our farm as long as you stay safe- tell someone where you are going and when you'll be back, take someone with you and take a radio if possible. Your host can tell you more about the best routes to follow. You can also ask us about our guided walking weekends if you are interesting in hiking.
You are welcome to try some fishing in the creek but driving around the farm and hunting is not permitted.
