I will teach you how to ferment your own vegetables. First, we'll start with fresh herbal tea or coffee at my home as we get acquainted. Then we will crack on and get stuck in by tasting a range of fermented vegetables and fruits, to get you familiar with the taste and smells of this amazingly beneficial condiment. I'll tell you why it's so good for you and how you might incorporate it into your daily diet. Then I'll teach you how to make your own - we will chop and grate and squeeze, mix and pack. We'll talk about what to do to continue the fermenting process at home and run through some trouble-shooting, just in case. It is my intention to inspire you with a handout full of recipes, as well as you taking away your own fermenting vegetables for the start of your fermenting journey.
Other things to note
If you get lost, go to Norton Disney village. Leave the village with the pub The Green Man on your left hand side. Continue back down Newark Road for about 1 mile. The drive with the white fence is then on your right, with the redundant farm buildings on the left beyond.

This experience is undertaken at my home, which is a converted barn in the countryside. If the weather is good enough, we might spend time outside in the garden too (where I grown my veggies). We have a cat (I'm just telling you this in case you are allergic to cats!).

I cannot believe that someone can convey so much invaluable information in such a short space of time. Quite incredible! Jules is incredibly known and knows how to impart her knowledge and enthusiasm... totally infectious. I could not have enjoyed it more too! I went STRAIGHT to buy more jars and ingredients and was making more within a couple of hours. Let’s spread the news of the amazing Jules! Thank You so much.

A fantastic course in a wonderful location in the Lincolnshire countryside. Jules made me feel welcome on arrival. I have learnt so much on this course and can't wait to try out lots of different recipes. I came away armed with lots of information, my first creation made during the course and feeling totally inspired. I would recommend this to anyone interested in food, health and sustainable living.

Fascinating and practical introduction to food fermentation was really good, easy and interesting. As long as you can chop veg you will enjoy this. Delicious results too.
