When you come we will start at a beautiful home-museum from the 18 century where I will tell you why this Hacienda has been so important in this community for the past 170 years. Then I will take you in to the nature through the coffee plantation and explain what makes Colombian Coffee so special where you will plant your own coffee tree. I will show you from scratch how to do it and as well how to harvest. Experience birdwatching while we walk along the coffee plantation with amazing views of the city and the mountains. After we seen all about coffee in the plantation we will get back to the Hacienda and enjoy a delicious homemade meal surrounded by family and friends. The cherry on the cake: taste the most popular drink in the world 100% Colombian Special Coffee! We will show you how to apreciate the aroma, acidity, body and many elements when it comes to tasting great coffee. Then we will take the escalators that leads to the top of the mountain, and I will show you an amazing viewpoint to see all Medellin City, (here we will try more local food). Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. Be a farmer for one day-Coffee farm
In this oportunity we do our own Coffee Farm Experience.We gonna take you to the montains behind bogota to the really local town of choachi. From there we'll drive a few minutes more untill we get to our organic coffee farm, there we'll meet local farmers and with them we have a traditional colombian breackfast, also we'll talk about what it means to be an organic coffee farm and the daily tasks of a farmer. Latter we take our cocos for pick coffee, we get inside the plantation and we learn about the coffee in a organic farm. We'll walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants, we'll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it; also depending of the season may we cant collect coffee but we will rousted coffe them in a really native and artisanal way. We go under the local fruits trees, the idea is to feel the coffee culture pretty close and discover the colombian coffee world. We'll process the coffee and end drinking more coffee in a diferent way of preparation, we go to te town just for eat the best traditional lunch and in the way back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. We will spend between 3 or 4 hours horseback riding. We´ll leave from RESERVA GUADALAJARA - Finca hotel to visit the pastures of "Puerta de Palo" where we have milking cows. Then we cross San Pacho´s Creek and Armadillo tail in search of Elephant Rock. it's just the beginning... In the way you will enjoy crossing rivers and creeks and watching birds. But we need to climb to the top of THE ELEPHANT ROCK... a privileged and exclusive place where we can see the beautiful cocora valley and the white waters of Quindio River. After enjoying the landscape, we will cross the mountain in search of the ELF FOREST. We will leave the horses outside to protect the plants and the wax palms that are born inside. If you want to imagine this forest, remember those of Jurassic Park but with a big difference ... You will be walking inside them. Finally, we will return to the farm house where we will bathe and feed the horses in gratitude with them for having given us a beautiful experience. For you a good beer or ice tea. On this tour, we understand the transformation Medellin has experienced through the eyes of the farmers or peasants: the ones that made the city grow by migrating from all over the country because of forced displacement or looking for new opportunities. We start by taking the tram to visit La Placita de Florez one of the oldest farmers markets in town. Later, we will go to Comuna 8, specifically to a neighborhood called El Faro (The Lighthouse) named like this because of its stunning view over the valley and "imaginary" because the city says it doesn't belong to Medellín. Here we take a tour with a local guide that works on the continuous development of the community, supporting art and social projects. We will learn how they created the neighborhood by themselves and how has been the process of integration with the city. The best thing about this is that by doing this tour you're contributing to these projects. After having a walk through the colorful alleys of El Faro we enter a beautiful forest and in 25 minutes we reach the peak of the Cerro Pan de Azucar, one of the most emblematic mountains and the highest peak of the city to enjoy the best view you can have in Medellín. Other things to note We will walk through a good amount of stairs so I recommend to wear sport shoes. This tour is not suited for people with physical disabilities.

Tour de Guatapé y paseo en barco privado
A las 8:30 am empezará nuestro tour por uno de los pueblos más coloridos y con encanto de Antioquia: Guatapé. En el camino haremos una pequeña parada para disfrutar de un delicioso desayuno tradicional. Seguidamente, pasaremos por el pueblo del Peñol, donde podremos observar la arquitectura postconciliar de su Iglesia, hasta llegar a la réplica del antiguo Peñol. Allí tendremos la oportunidad de admirar el estilo colonial de sus casas y gozar de una majestuosa vista sobre la represa. A continuación, conoceremos uno de los lugares con más atractivo turístico de Colombia: la Piedra del Peñol. Dispondremos de una hora para subir los más de 740 escalones que conducen hasta la cima del monolito y contemplar la impresionante vista de 360º sobre el paisaje circundante. Posteriormente, a la 12:00 pm repondremos fuerzas tomando un almuerzo típico. En la tarde, disfrutaremos de un relajante paseo en barco por la represa, desde el que podremos contemplar varias propiedades importantes de la región. Para concluir, visitaremos el pueblo de Guatapé, conocido por los zócalos que adornan la parte baja de sus casas y de la mano de tu guía, conocerás su cultura y lugares más emblemáticos para después explorarlo por tu cuenta. Bogotá Cabalgata por los cerros orientales

We'll visit a coffee plantation in Guatapé, where we learn from local farmers everything about the coffee process, from the seed to the cup, there you’ll pick coffee and will see the whole process, you will be for a while a coffee farmer. As we are in Guatapé, we have to go to the rock, get ready to walk the 708 steps to reach the top, that adorns the landscape of Antioquia and enjoy a breathtaking 360 degrees view of the dam and surrounding areas to capture unforgettable pictures.
